ABOUT MY PRACTICE I am a Western European white, trans, queer, disabled, neurodivergent (ADHDer) woman who believes in harm reduction and abolition. I am passionate about working with fellow disabled and neurodivergent folks, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Chicago’s nightlife scene, and local sex workers. My therapeutic approach is sex, kink, & poly-positive, intersectional, nonjudgmental, strengths-based, and client-centered. I am originally from a small town in a rural area of Western Pennsylvania. One of the reasons I only offer telehealth virtual therapy services is because it allows me to work with trans and queer folks who live in more rural areas of Illinois, which I'm very passionate about. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a full-time artist and performer in the Chicago area. I see therapy as a space where we can work to decolonize our minds and unpack white supremacy along with all of its oppressive offshoots, such as systemic racism, anti-Blackness, anti-transness, anti-queerness, ableism, misogyny, and anti-fatness with the goal of working to dismantle these oppressive systems through communal action outside of therapy. VALUES & APPROACH I am a communist, an anti-capitalist, and I am staunchly anti-genocide, anti-ICE, anti-colonization, and anti-occupation of indigenous land. Free Palestine, Sudan, Congo, and all other occupied lands. I am pro-Land Back and reparations for indigenous nations of Turtle Island and members of the African Diaspora. If you’re looking for a specific modality, I primarily gravitate towards Mindfulness imagery, guided meditation, and breathing techniques, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
